We currently have opportunities available for a Technical Support Engineer to join our CAME UK Technical Support Team for our Automation products, based at Castle Donington.

CAME UK is an international company manufacturing a range of specialist security products, primarily Video entry systems and Gate automation. We deal directly with trade professionals and distributors in the UK and provide industry leading training, sales and technical support across 5 branches. Our office in Castle Donington is friendly and vibrant, with a great team of people and culture of pulling together and sharing the success of our efforts. You will need to be somebody who is a strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail and an enthusiasm to learn. As a business-to-business company, developing good relationships with our customer base and exceptional service is vital for our continued success.

The Technical Support Engineer role is hands-on and a real opportunity for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to imbed within the existing team, working together to successfully deal with technical related customer enquiries, as well as diagnosing and solving technical issues.

Your next role…

  • Perform technical support and advice in a logical and methodical manner to installers and users.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and operator instructions with the ability to communicate technical knowledge remotely to varying skilled users.
  • Continuous improvement by participation in company training.
  • Work effectively and productively to deadlines under reasonable pressure.
  • Ensure that all KPI’s are met.
  • Take ownership of user problems, escalate when appropriate to team leader / Manager.

Interested? Our office, in Castle Donington, is ideally located between Derby and Nottingham, just off the A50 and minutes from junction 24a of the M1. In addition to a competitive salary and bonus package, you will also receive:
