Are you an experienced Technician with mechanical and electro-mechanical experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Assembly Technician!

As an Assembly Technician for Intercom and Access Control product ranges, you will be involved in a huge variety of day-to-day tasks, including:

  • Assembling, configuring and testing door entry access control systems to ensure they are ready to be installed on site.
  • Preparing products into demonstration and display models.
  • Picking and packing finished goods into kits for distribution to our customers.

The role requires previous experience of working in a technical environment and performing assembly and end-of-line testing on electro-mechanical products.

  • Returns and repairs – assessing returned items, confirming faults through testing, conducting repairs.
  • New System Preparation – Picking components, wiring, ISO9001 compliance, packing and shipping.
  • Assembly – Creating kits, cable looms, preparing products for dispatch.
  • Product Configuration – Configuration of systems, maintaining ready configured competent levels.
  • Training – Assisting in product familiarisation, building work instructions, instruction manuals, creating training equipment.

Experience in assembling electro-mechanical products, using test and configuration equipment (cloud based) and test meters, and knowledge of LAN and Networking Hardware is required.
