Overview

Practical, hands-on Revenue Manager role focused on day‑to‑day rate and inventory management across our Camden properties. You’ll work directly with operations team and manage bookings and distribution through our PMS (Property Management System)/channel tools, delivering simple, effective pricing, promotions and upsell tactics to grow RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room). 20 Hours per week across 4/5 days.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily rate and inventory management in the PMS, booking engine and OTAs (Online Travel Agencies); perform manual checks and quick updates.
  • Monitor local Camden market, competitor activity and events; make pragmatic pricing decisions.
  • Produce concise weekly/monthly forecasts with clear, actionable plans.
  • Drive direct bookings: simple offers, website parity and booking‑focused tactics.
  • Manage restrictions, LOS (Length of Stay), room blocks for groups/events and basic yield controls.
  • Work closely with Front Desk, Sales and F&B (Food & Beverage) to increase upsells (upgrades, late check-out, F&B).
  • Create low-cost local promotions and partnerships to attract Camden visitors.
  • Maintain OTA and negotiated rate relationships; handle day-to-day distribution tasks.
  • Present insights simply to owners/management and implement quick fixes.

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years proven hands-on hotel revenue experience; practical operators preferred.
  • Confident using PMS, booking engines and channel manager tools (experience with common systems such as Zonal a plus).
  • Strong local market knowledge of Camden and practical commercial judgement.
  • Good Excel skills for forecasting; familiarity with simple RMS (Revenue Management System)/BI (Business Intelligence) tools a plus.
  • Clear, plain English communicator able to influence operational teams.
  • Resourceful, adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced, small‑team environment.
  • Guest focused with a commercial mindset.
