The Governors of La Sainte Union Catholic Secondary School are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to join our school as a Teacher with Head of Year responsibility.

Role

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within their subject area
  • Lead a year group, ensuring outstanding pastoral care, wellbeing and safeguarding
  • Drive high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement
  • Lead and support a team of form tutors
  • Work closely with families, staff and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for all pupils
  • Implement targeted interventions to support pupil progress and personal development
