Camden Cycle S is looking for “Bicycle Sales Person”.

Though prior knowledge of the bicycle industry is not necessary, a right candidate should have sound knowledge of bicycles and be willing to work with their hands on bicycles.

Day‑to‑day shop tasks include clocking sales in the till, counting stock and restocking, cleaning and tidying up the shop.

  • A genuine passion and interest in cycling
  • Sound commercial knowledge
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Good command of English
  • Responsible and well‑organised
  • Motivated and a team worker

We provide complete on‑job training, so people who want to start work in the bicycle industry can also apply.

They will be provided with an excellent on‑job opportunity to learn and earn.

We are an equal‑opportunity employer and encourage people from all ethnic groups to apply with confidence.

We do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, or religion.

You can apply Part Time or Full Time.

Salary and hours will be discussed.

We are looking to recruit a bicycle mechanic/shop assistant.

Ideally you’ll be currently working or looking to return to the cycle industry either as a mechanic or in a sales capacity.

We will consider all applications if the applicant can demonstrate a good level of bike‑maintenance skills, is affable and presentable.

The role requires you to be positive and professional as you’ll be in the public eye. You will be self‑motivated and able to work on your own initiative.

For the right person, this could lead to a supervisory position working with an apprentice and running the shop on a day‑to‑day basis in the absence of a manager.

So you should be able to juggle several things at once, not get put off by occasional pressure, and be self‑motivated to carry out tasks without being asked.

We are a specialist second‑hand bike shop, so knowledge of all sorts of bicycles would be a plus but again not essential.

If you are interested and would like to get stuck into a role which is varied and interesting with lots of room for growth, please apply via this ad.

Hours and salary will be discussed.

Thank you.

We are often looking for skilled, experienced mechanics.
