Camden Council is seeking a STEAM Programme Officer to support delivery of its borough-wide STEAM initiatives, including the major Camden STEAM Work Experience Programme (6-11 July 2026). The role provides coordination, logistics, partner engagement and administrative support across multiple education and employer‑led programmes.

  • Key duties
  • Coordinate the Camden STEAM Work Experience Programme for Year 12 students
  • Liaise with schools, employers and external partners to confirm placements and documentation
  • Support delivery of STEAM events including Primary Careers Day and T Level celebrations
  • Assist with employer engagement, research and partner communications
  • Maintain accurate programme data, records and spreadsheets
  • Provide cross‑team administrative and coordination support

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience coordinating programmes, projects or events
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and managing data
