Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for providing strategic insight across Education Finance and will work closely with senior management teams and other stakeholders to provide excellent financial advice, support, and challenge across a wide range of financial related matters.
  • You will be responsible for strategic and operational advice and support to operational business managers and school bursars across the range of financial specialisms, to ensure that they can carry out their financial duties effectively.

Qualifications

  • Part qualified in CCAB or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to interpret government regulations and similar documents, apply logic and judgement is essential.
  • Good understanding of the issues that affect schools financing including government and local regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to build trusted working relationships across the organisation and the skills to influence key stakeholders in their decision making, helping to provide a solution focus to service and drive service improvements via financial insight.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience of communicating complex financial information to key stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
