About Camden: At London Borough of Camden, we’re building somewhere everyone can thrive. We want Camden to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and where our communities feel proud of the spaces they live, work and visit. We are an ambitious borough, committed to inclusive growth, sustainability and tackling inequality through the work we do.

About the role: As Regeneration Team Leader (Partnerships), you’ll lead a portfolio of major development projects as part of Camden’s Community Investment Programme, helping to deliver new homes, community facilities and wider regeneration across the borough. You’ll manage projects through the full lifecycle, working with senior leaders, councillors, residents and partners to shape and deliver schemes. A key focus will be developing and managing partnership approaches, including Joint Ventures and development agreements. You’ll lead a team of development professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard, while also maximising social value for local communities. This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of some of Camden’s most important regeneration programmes.

About you: You’re an experienced leader with a strong track record of delivering complex development or regeneration projects. You’re confident managing teams and driving projects forward in a fast-paced environment. You’re comfortable working in partnership, able to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including residents, councillors and external partners. You’re a clear communicator with a good understanding of the political environment, and bring knowledge of development, construction and partnership models such as Joint Ventures. You will also demonstrate strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a focus on outcomes for residents.

Working for Camden: We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine how we’re supporting our communities, and we’ll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk. At Camden, you’ll receive a host of benefits as well as joining a flexible working employer. Full details of our benefits are available in the benefits section. We offer flexible working arrangements, generous annual leave, pension contributions and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Inclusion and Belonging: At Camden, we want every colleague to feel they belong and can thrive. We welcome applications from all parts of our community, and particularly encourage people from Black, Asian and Other Ethnic Heritage communities, LGBTQ+ people, disabled and neurodiverse people, survivors of domestic abuse, and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds or with care experience. We know that different voices and perspectives make us stronger, and we are committed to providing the support, adjustments and flexibility people need to succeed.

Asking for Adjustments: At Camden, we are committed to making our recruitment process barrier-free and accessible for everyone. If you need us to do something differently during the application, interview or assessment process, just let us know and we will support you. This could include providing information in an alternative format, extra time in assessments, or adjustments for disabled, neurodiverse or long-term health conditions.
