Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We are home to the most important conversations happening today and we are making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind.

How You’ll Be Involved

The North London Councils programme is hosted by Camden council, and the Programme is set up by 5 North London Councils (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington). The main aims are to deliver programmes of work that address shared priorities in partnership and to promote a strong Local Authority presence within North Central London’s Integrated Care System (ICS).

We have an exciting new role as the North Central London (NCL) Care Provider Engagement Lead. You will be part of the Adult Social Care Markets Commissioning Team which covers Learning Disabilities, Equipment Transformation, Commissioning, and Digital Transformation across the North Central London Boroughs and care providers. You will be instrumental in working collaboratively with the NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board, with the roll-out of the London Care Record (LCR) and Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT). These two programmes seek to improve the sharing of data between health and social care organisations, along with maintaining best practice for data protection. You will be responsible for engaging with care providers, promoting the use of LCR and DSPT, and supporting their implementation and evaluation.

All About You

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working as part of a team and understand the needs of the Health and Social Care sector. You will be highly motivated to cultivate strong relationships within the sector, fostering collaboration with the Integrated Care Board and providers to understand their needs and business priorities. The role will be working across the whole of NCL, so you will need to be well organised and work efficiently. You will have the ability to adapt easily to the differing needs of the boroughs and understand how best to work collaboratively with each of the care providers with whom you engage.

We want Camden Council to be a great place to work and to ensure that our communities are represented across our workforce. A vital part of this is ensuring we are a truly inclusive organisation that encourages diversity in all respects, including diversity of thinking. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and those of Other Ethnicities, LGBT+, disabled and neurodiverse communities to make a real difference to our residents so that equalities and justice remains at the heart of everything we do.
