Join our superb team of volunteers! We know just how much our wonderful volunteers can improve a patient’s experience here at Addenbrooke's or the Rosie hospitals. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a caring attitude and a commitment to supporting the Trust’s Values, Together - Safe, Kind, Excellent.
We understand that it can be an anxious time for patients when they are trying to find their way around the Trust, so we are looking to expand our team of volunteer guides to be a welcoming friendly face who can help individuals to find the location they are looking for. Please note, this role is volunteering.
Main duties of the job:
- All our volunteers help to improve the experience of our patients and visitors and support staff.
- As a volunteer guide, you will be providing directions or will accompany patients to their destination.
- You may also assist with mobility requirements such as obtaining wheelchairs for our patients to enable them to reach their appointments comfortably.
