Applications are invited for the posts of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in Medical Oncology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. These posts are available to commence from 04 March 2026 until 01 September 2026.
Main duties of the job:
- These posts are suitable for doctors who have completed their Core General Medical Training and wish to pursue a career in Medical or Clinical Oncology (posts are equivalent to ST3 level Oncology Common Stem).
- There will be opportunity to see inpatients and outpatients and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings for the management of solid tumours.
- Participation in research and audit projects is strongly encouraged.
- The posts are based in the Oncology department of Addenbrookes Hospital.
Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition. Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

Person specification:
- Agreement that the following criteria has been met (MBBS, 12 months NHS experience)
- Completion of a minimum of 24 months of core medical training or equivalent, including oncology experience
- Completion of Foundation Competencies
- Able to deal with general emergency admissions (on-call)
