Cambs Heating Ltd is a local, owner-run heating and plumbing company in Cambridge. We're looking for a skilled gas and heating engineer to join us full time on a PAYE contract with a company van provided. You'll carry out boiler replacements and installs, system upgrades, unvented hot water cylinders, air source heat pump installs, some underfloor heating, and servicing and breakdown visits. You'll mostly work in and around Cambridge (CB1 to CB5 and nearby villages). You'll be someone who takes pride in a tidy install, finishes a job properly, and is good with customers in their homes. Paid training offered, including heat pumps, F-Gas and Part P. 30 days holiday including bank holidays and a workplace pension.
- Gas Safe registration with ACS CCN1 and CENWAT (CKR1 and HTR1 are a plus)
- G3 unvented hot water qualification
- Water regulations / water safety certificate
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete oneNice to have: Level 3 air source heat pump qualification (or the wish to get one - we'll pay), F-Gas Category I, Part P or 18th Edition, LPG.
