Overview
The successful candidate will work alongside community-based colleagues to provide assessment and psychiatric treatment for Older Adults within the Fenland community across a largely rural area.
The OPMH team handles referrals from across the area.
Not all referrals require the consultant to see them, and some are managed by other staff in the community team.
The service receives a steady flow of referrals per month for psychiatry outpatient work and memory assessment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the multidisciplinary team in providing excellent psychiatric care.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for older adults.
- Lead weekly MDT meetings and ensure prompt reviews of acutely unwell patients.
- Collaborate closely with the CRHTT OP, community teams, and liaison services as patients move between teams.
