About the role
North Northamptonshire Council are excited to offer this key opportunity for a Family Hubs Reception & Customer Support Officer. This frontline role is essential in shaping the first impressions of our Family Hubs and driving forward our Family Hub Offer —supporting families from pregnancy through to age 19 (or 25 for those with SEND).
Our Family Hubs serve as vital community spaces, offering access to a wide range of services including education, mental health support, and physical health resources—with Start for Life at the heart of it all. As one of the first faces families see when they visit, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, supportive environment covering reception duties and assisting the team.
About you
As the first point of contact for families and partners, you’ll represent the values and vision of the Family Hubs. You’ll be confident in introducing people to the services and opportunities available and play a key part in encouraging community engagement.
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised, and professional—with strong admin skills and a genuine passion for helping others. You’ll need to be comfortable communicating with people from all walks of life and able to thrive in a busy, community-focused setting.
