The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The role is currently based at Fawcett House, Cambridge. However, please note that as part of the Council’s ongoing Asset Review, the office base may change during 2026. Teams currently located at Fawcett House may be relocated to an alternative site within the County, which in most cases will be in close proximity to the current location.

What will you be doing?

You will lead on practice and performance development through the provision of high quality supervision and support of staff in line with The Care Act principles. You will take a lead on highly complex cases, working creatively in partnership with others to manage risk. You will also provide leadership, through managing essential functions of the team including complex safeguarding situations. Our Community Teams are working to a hybrid model, with part‑remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs. Once fully trained, our Social Workers will work from the office up to three days each week, providing a quiet space for reflection while balancing collaborative working and peer support.

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
