About the role

The East Learning Disability Team offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join us in a permanent role. This part-time position (28 hours) is based at Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely, with the option for home working as part of a hybrid role.

The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) unites specialist health and social care services for people with learning disabilities. The LDP commissions and provides these services on behalf of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) and Cambridgeshire County Council.

About you

We are looking for applicants who have a Social Work qualification and are 2 years post completion of the ASYE programme.

Experience of providing line management support, making Safeguarding Personal investigations, completing complex case work, including Court of Protection Deprivation of Liberty applications, and experience of using Mosaic data base would be desirable.

You will be able to work autonomously, as well as supporting other team member as part of multi-disciplinary working with health and social care colleagues.
