Overview

Cambridgeshire Constabulary is recruiting for transferee officers. We operate a North/South policing model with hubs around Peterborough (North) and Cambridge (South). Response policing is at the forefront of tackling traditional and emerging crimes, and the Response Officers are first on scene, making critical decisions under pressure and providing immediate support to victims and communities.

Responsibilities

As a Transferee Police Officer, you will contribute to keeping the community safe and effectively manage incident-related risks. You will engage with the community to deliver a quality service and support victims while working within the local partnership approach across the county.

Qualifications

  • You will already have completed your probation period in a Home Office force.
  • Experience in Response Policing.
  • Passionate about keeping the community safe; protecting the vulnerable is a core ethos of policing activity.
  • There is an expectation that you will remain in role for 12 months following your appointment.
  • There are current vacancies across Cambridgeshire; during the application process we will ask for your posting preference and you may be posted anywhere in the county. PSU accreditation may be requested if attained.
