Job Description
Bedfordshire Police are looking to recruit a Facilities Support Officer to join a small team in order to assist with the maintenance and operation of Bedfordshire Police properties.
Previous experience of building maintenance and/or building services would be an advantage. Duties are varied and will include day to day maintenance as required but not limited to car park repairs, lights, locks, doors, toilets, changing room, kitchen, grounds, courier and dispatch.
The successful candidate must be flexible and keen to contribute to the varied work of the Estates and Facilities Maintenance team.
This role is based at Luton Police Station and you must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you may be required to travel to alternative locations within the force.
The role will include on call duties for out of hours on a rota basis one week in four (additional payments will be paid for on call).
