This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team dedicated to managing criminal cases from the police into the Criminal Justice partnership. As a Case Coordinator, you will oversee higher profile cases and support a small team of Case Administrators.

Your responsibilities include progressing remand cases to the Remand Court, ensuring effective consideration of high-risk offender releases, and gathering up-to-date information for bail applications. You will allocate cases across teams, manage Postal Requisition cases, and ensure timely processing.

You will be the first line manager for a small team, ensuring their training and development. You will handle enquiries from the Crown Prosecution Service and Judiciary, and ensure victims and witnesses receive appropriate support by referring them to Victim and Witness care units.

This role reports to a Team Leader and offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance the Criminal Justice partnership and support victims and witnesses. The team is based in Hatfield but manages cases from Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Employment is contracted to Hertfordshire Constabulary. The role is primarily office-based, with some exploration of agile working.
