Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) Join to apply for the Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) role at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust . This position covers the Bedfordshire and Luton area. The pathway includes enrolling in the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN – health visitor) course starting January 2026, in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire. This program offers comprehensive training and a fulfilling career opportunity. Upon successful course completion, you will be offered a Health Visitor post within the Healthy Child Programme Services. We also provide webinars to support your application process. Requirements: Passionate about public health, with a \’think family\’ approach to interventions, aiming to improve outcomes for children and young people. Current NMC registration (with a live PIN) in any nursing or midwifery branch, meeting the university\’s academic requirements, with 50% of your time dedicated to academic study and 50% to practice experience within health visiting or school nursing teams. Ability to commit to 52 weeks of the course at the University of Hertfordshire, including timetabled annual leave.
