Overview
MHST Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist role at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. Based in Peterborough, this early-intervention post will support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across Peterborough through the five Peterborough MHSTs. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families, and will contribute to consultation and training within the EHWS and with education staff, in line with clinical governance and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families.
- Offer consultation with educational establishments and deliver internal training to MHSTs within EHWS and external training to education staff and the wider professional network.
- Collaborate across the five Peterborough MHSTs to support the success of the service.
- Engage in clinical work within schools and colleges at an early intervention level across Peterborough.
- Adhere to clinical governance processes and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT Therapist with a background in child and adolescent services.
