Administrative Assistant
Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust – Children’s Community Specialist Nursing Service and Community Paediatric Team.
We are looking for a self‑motivated, positive and committed individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to our teams and to high‑standard care for children, families and clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails from service users and other professionals efficiently and confidently.
- Process referrals, register patients and check tasks, and maintain patient records on SystmOne.
- Scan documentation onto patient records.
- Record all contact received into the service using SystmOne in accordance with agreed protocols and pathways.
- Support paediatricians, nurses and clinicians with office and administrative tasks.
- Ensure GDPR and confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge and maintain relationships.
They will have good administration skills, a good telephone manner, and the ability to deal with challenging queries.
They will be able to work effectively, in what can at times be a pressurised environment supporting a team to provide outstanding care and support to children, young people and families across Cambridgeshire.
