Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist to be part of the new Infected Blood Psychological Service (IBPS) supporting those who were infected or affected by contaminated blood products. The Care Navigator will be the first point of contact for people accessing the service and will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and interventions, creating care plans, assessing risk and signposting to other services and agencies as appropriate.
- Lead on outreach programmes, establish mechanisms for peer support and contribute to the development of this new service.
- Work closely with the IBPS Clinical Psychologists and with the national network of Care Navigators.
Location and Team
The role is based within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) Psychological Medicine Service at Addenbrooke\\\'s Hospital in Cambridge and hosted by the Addenbrooke\\\'s Haemophilia Centre.
CPFT provides Psychological Medicine Services within acute hospitals in the county, including Addenbrooke\\\'s Hospital; Royal Papworth Hospital; Peterborough City Hospital; Stamford Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
