Bank Nurse - Physical & Mental Health

Overview

Join us as a Bank Nurse in Physical & Mental Health at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT). We are looking for highly motivated, clinically skilled first‑level registered nurses capable of working across inpatient and community settings.

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will support shifts on an internal rotation basis, covering day and night shifts according to your availability.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for identified service users.
• Act as nurse for service users with complex and challenging needs.
• Provide high‑standard, individualised, holistic, evidence‑based patient‑focused nursing using the nursing process.
• Act as a vital link between patients, carers, relatives, and therapists to ensure a consistent focus on patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Nurse, qualified as a first‑level nurse.
• Experience in Physical Health or Mental Health preferred – e.g., recovery rehabilitation, palliative care, older adults, inpatient & community mental health.
• Strong clinical skills and motivation.
