Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Lift Engineer located in the Cambridge Area. The lift engineer will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, diagnostic evaluations, and repairs on a variety of lift equipment. Daily tasks include inspecting lift systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing necessary repairs or replacements of lift components. The role also involves coordination with other team members and maintaining detailed service records.
Qualifications
- Experience in lift maintenance, repair, and diagnostics
- Knowledge of products from manufacturers such as Otis, Kone, Schindler, Kollmorgan, Borel, IMEC, and Kleemanns
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Relevant certifications and technical qualifications
- Understanding of regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Experience with refurbishment and modernization of lift equipment is a plus
