The Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to support the growth of our Membership and Sponsorship activity. Your focus and responsibilities will be on identifying new organisations, starting conversations, and pre‑qualifying opportunities, which are then passed to our Business Development team for full qualification and closure.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and researching new companies aligned with CW’s deep tech ecosystem
  • Building and managing target account lists
  • Reaching out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, other sales systems, in person and phone
  • Engaging senior decision makers (CEO, Founder, Head of BD, Marketing, Product)
  • Running first discovery conversations
  • Assessing relevance, interest and strategic fit
  • Handing qualified opportunities to the BD team
  • Logging outreach activity and outcomes
  • Supporting pipeline visibility and reporting
  • Creating contracts and supporting sponsorship fulfilment

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an SDR / BDR or outbound focused sales role
  • Proven success generating net new outbound opportunities
  • Experience in B2B technology or deep tech environments
  • Confident speaking with senior stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with a CRM system
  • Structured, disciplined and target driven approach
  • Background in connectivity, telecoms, wireless, IoT, semiconductors or related tech
  • Degree educated
