We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge. We are looking for Subject Advisors to manage queries for a suite of syllabuses across either Art, Music, Drama, Design & Technology or Mathematics, ICT, Computer Science, Accounting and Business. As Subject Specialist Advisor for Cambridge International, you will have an excellent understanding of the subject area and the needs of our schools, which will enable you to support our teachers with our qualifications. You will work closely with internal colleagues, providing feedback from teachers to ensure that our products, services and support meets the needs of our customer.
About The Role
- Representing our brand and reputation as you support teachers with subject-specific queries.
- Responding to customer contact through emails and calls, providing a high-quality service to support schools and teachers to deliver our qualifications.
- Being a trusted expert in your field and have a passion for your subject.
- Having an excellent understanding of our qualifications.
- Covering a range of syllabuses in your subject area and you will be responsible for advising on IGCSE, O level, International AS and A Levels.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to provide customer feedback to enable the development of products, services, and support.
- Monitoring subject forums and responding to questions on the discussion boards, creating a customer community which is inclusive and supportive.
- Helping create, update, and maintain help centre articles.
About You
- Knowledge of assessment in education.
- Experience in planning and delivering qualifications.
- Educated to degree Level in the subject area where the portfolio focuses or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in the subject area where the portfolio focuses.
- IT literate (proficient in the use of MS Office).
- Excellent communication skills β written and verbal.
- Confidence with customer data / GDPR.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload in pressured situations.
