Are you a creative, collaborative and experienced professional working within marketing (or related profession), with an interest in learning and education? We're looking for a Senior Marketing Executive within our Academic division to market textbooks and digital learning solutions across a variety of subject areas. You'll report into the Global Marketing Manager, Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our products and services in an area of key focus for the company. About the Role

The role requires you to work closely with the Higher Education sales team, helping to contribute market expertise and coordinate marketing activities to increase adoptions of print and digital products globally. You will take a global lead on key titles within specific subjects and develop marketing content, plans, and resources for use by sales colleagues. Close collaboration with colleagues and authors around the world will be a central part of this role. You will take an active role in coordinating key project activity in specific areas of Higher Education marketing, and you will deputise for the Marketing Manager as required in key meetings and presentations. This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.  

About you

You will have experience in a marketing and/or customer solutions role, looking to take the next step in your career. You should have a solid understanding of marketing principles and be capable of implementing targeted and measurable marketing campaigns, from the planning and creative stages through to launch and reporting. We are looking for a confident communicator, capable of working effectively with numerous teams across the business including those based in international offices. You will have experience of working closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure effective collaboration on key projects. You are analytical and solutions-oriented, and understand the principles of market research to inform new product development. You are driven to put the needs of the customer at the heart of the business.  You should be committed to working as part of a small and collaborative team and able to adapt to quickly evolving market requirements.   • A commercial background and experience with CRMs, marketing and web analytics and CMS platforms would be advantageous.
