Salary: £24,900 per annum

Location: Cambridge, UK/Hybrid

Contract: 1-year Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 35 hours per week (9am – 5pm due to operational needs of the role)

About the role

As an Inventory Assistant, you will help maintain accurate stock data across our internal systems and external warehouse partners worldwide. Working as part of a supportive team, you will manage queries and provide essential information that enables smooth order fulfilment, customer support, and product launches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling stock levels across third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouses and CUP&A systems (SAP/A2R)
  • Handling email queries from colleagues and partners
  • Supporting stock condition changes in line with business policies, including quality assurance and kitting
  • Liaising with 3PL providers to resolve operational inventory matters
  • Producing accurate data, evidence, and metrics across inventory processes
  • Maintaining and updating departmental procedural documentation

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.

About You

You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have high attention to detail and accuracy, along with confidence in problem-solving and resolving enquiries promptly. Along with your administrative experience, you will be proficient in computer systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
