Location: Cambridge, UK/hybrid minimum 2 days per week working from the office.

Contract: Fixed term / Secondment (9-12 months), full time 35 hours per week.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance & ERP Solutions team as maternity cover for our SAP Trainer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in the SAP domain without the need for technical configuration or development expertise. If you have SAP end-user experience, perhaps as a super-user for your department, coupled with a desire to share knowledge and help colleagues, and are looking for a challenge, this could be the role for you.

About the SAP Trainer role:

  • You will act as a bridge between our technical team and our users.
  • By interpreting the functionality provided into training materials and delivering training courses, you will help users learn how to best use the Core SAP system and ensure that they can carry out their processes effectively and efficiently.
  • The main, and immediate, requirement will be to work on the procurement aspects of the Global Finance & Fulfilment (GFF) India project, which is rolling out Core SAP to our India branch office.
  • Working with process owners and subject matter experts, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating and updating training materials
  • Readying the Core SAP system for training
  • Planning, coordinating and delivering training courses
  • Providing training support post-go-live
  • There will also be some business-as-usual (BAU) aspects to the role; for example, supporting new users with existing functionality and helping to introduce new features and enhancements that are delivered by the Core SAP team.
  • About you:

    • You will be proactive and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills and an instinct to collaborate, and a desire to share knowledge and help colleagues.
    • You will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, supplemented by a keen attention to detail.
    • A solid practical understanding of SAP (in particular, procurement), and an aptitude for technology and technical processes would also be essential.
    • A background as a super-user, trainer, or business process specialist in our organisation or industry would be advantageous.
