Location & Contract: Cambridge. Hybrid work, 2‑3 days per week in the office. Fixed‑term, full‑time (8 weeks).

Placement Dates: 13 July – 4 September 2026.

About the Role: The Content Team within the International Education business area develops educational products for UK and international schools. In this internship you will support the team by understanding its processes, contributing to process improvements, researching tools, and adapting an existing AI/Python tool for syllabus alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the Content Team and how it functions in the wider International Education business area.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, including the use of AI prompts, process mapping, and workflow automation.
  • Research and suggest new tools or technologies that could improve project timeframes and collaboration efficiency.
  • Adapt an existing AI/Python tool used to map syllabus alignment for use within the remit of the Content Team.

About You (Qualifications & Skills): We are looking for a motivated and organised person with an interest in educational publishing and gaining experience in an editorial team. You will demonstrate knowledge of confident, safe and responsible AI use, business process improvement, and optimising workflows. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and eager to identify inefficiencies, contribute to solutions, and support cross‑functional communication.

  • Experience working with AI following safe‑use guidelines.
  • Experience building tools using programming languages such as Python – incorporating AI models where necessary.
  • Familiarity with curriculum structures or educational content is a plus.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.
  • Ability to quickly form positive working relationships.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Open to new tools, methods, and shifting priorities.
  • Eager to ask questions, research, and suggest solutions independently.
