Role Overview

As the ‘heart of the office’, the Office Manager ensures our London hub and digital workspaces are vibrant, efficient and safe. You are a proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude who thrives on variety—from managing facility contracts to producing company-wide events. You will be the engine behind our culture, managing logistics for the broader business and ensuring that our office spaces are safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities & Workplace Ownership: Manage the London Kings Cross office, including cleaning contracts, maintenance, access control and meeting room planning for our colleagues.
  • Company-Wide Logistics: Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for the entire business, ensuring cost-effective and smooth arrangements.
  • Event Production: Lead the execution of company-wide events and team meetings, including venue sourcing and agenda building.
  • Team Updates: Owns the bi-weekly Team Update call, including agenda building, coordination and posting the call summary on Slack.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Serve as the lead for UK H&S compliance, including VDU assessments, risk assessments, first aid and fire marshal coordination.
  • People Team Support: Act as a policy custodian and manage engagement initiatives such as work anniversaries and internal celebrations.
  • Procurement: Oversee office supplies and ad-hoc purchasing, reconciling spend against the corporate credit card.

Candidate Specification

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience managing a physical office space, coordinating with third-party vendors and organising events within a high-growth environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Google Workspace, with the ability to create and tweak presentations and manage digital filing systems.
  • Mindset: A proactive, self-directed professional who identifies operational gaps and fills them independently.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable traveling to the London Kings Cross office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a flexible approach to business needs.
  • H&S Knowledge: Understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
