Cambridge Regional College is seeking a dedicated Culinary Arts Technician to join our award-winning team and play a vital role in the smooth running of our teaching kitchens, restaurant, and café operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of stock ordering and control, ensuring ingredients and supplies are available when needed.
- Liaise with food suppliers to maintain quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries.
- Work closely with lecturers and chefs to plan food orders for lessons and commercial operations.
- Support the efficient running of our AA Rosette award-winning restaurant and café, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in stock control, ordering, or kitchen operations (educational or commercial setting).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
