Cambridge Regional College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Maths to join our Service Industries, Business and Travel department on a part time basis for 3 days per week (22.5 hours). This is an exciting opportunity to shape learners\’ futures through innovative teaching and support, making a real impact in their educational journey.

About the Role:

As a Maths Lecturer, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of maths courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.

  • Work collaboratively within a diverse and dynamic department serving learners in Business, Travel and Tourism, and Service Industry pathways.

  • Support students to develop core numeracy skills essential for both academic success and future careers.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning strategies.

  • Inspire confidence, encourage progression, and ensure excellent learner outcomes.

What We\’re Looking For:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related field.

  • A passion for teaching and supporting students from a variety of backgrounds.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Experience teaching Maths in an FE or secondary setting is desirable, but not essential.
