Cambridge Regional College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Hairdressing to join our dynamic team and help shape the next generation of industry professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator or an experienced stylist looking to move into teaching to make a real impact in a thriving FE environment. While mainly based at our Cambridge campus, there will be times when there will be a requirement for you to teach at our Huntingdon campus.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging, high quality teaching across a range of Hairdressing programmes (Levels 1-3).
- Support learners in developing strong technical, creative, and professional skills aligned with industry standards.
- Plan, prepare, and assess coursework, practical sessions, and theory lessons.
- Contribute to curriculum development and help maintain our excellent reputation for vocational training.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to ensure learners achieve their full potential.
About You
- A recognised Hairdressing qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Strong industry experience and up to date technical knowledge.
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Excellent communication skills and a learner centred approach.
- A passion for inspiring students and supporting their progression into the hairdressing industry.
