Salary: Β£88,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Cambridge Regional College is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Senior Management Team as Vice Principal Curriculum Development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and visionary leader to drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment across one of the region's leading further education colleges. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our curriculum responds to local, regional and national skills priorities whilst delivering outstanding outcomes for students, employers and communities.

Reporting directly to the Principal and Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership across all areas of curriculum provision, including 16-19 study programmes, adult learning, apprenticeships, higher needs provision, community learning and commercial training.

About the Role

As Vice Principal Curriculum Development, you will:

  • Lead the strategic planning, development and implementation of curriculum provision to meet current and future skills needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, assessment and student outcomes.
  • Ensure students achieve exceptional progression into employment, higher education and further learning.
  • Create strong partnerships with employers, schools, universities and key stakeholders.
  • Lead quality improvement strategies and performance management to achieve consistently high standards.
  • Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across all curriculum areas.
  • Inspire and develop high-performing teams, creating a culture of excellence, accountability and collaboration.
  • Act as a key adviser to Governors and senior leaders on all matters relating to curriculum and quality.

About You

We are looking for a proven senior leader with a strong track record of delivering outstanding recruitment, retention, achievement and progression outcomes for students, demonstrable success in curriculum planning, quality improvement and organisational performance and experience of leading and developing high-performing teams. You will also have excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with employers, funding bodies and external partners and a strong strategic, commercial and financial awareness.
