Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a first-class Receptionist and Customer Service Assistant to join our friendly reception team at our bustling Cambridge Campus on a part time basis for 34.5 hours per week.

About our role
We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small reception team.
Reporting into the Team Leader - Curriculum Admin and Reception, in this post you'll assist in the provision of high standard customer service and collaborate with staff in other areas of the College to provide a responsive and integrated service to potential students as well as current students, visitors and staff during evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the running of the main reception during our evening hours.
- Acting as a first point of contact for students, staff and all visitors to the College.
- Dealing with incoming/outgoing post, courier services and e‑mail.
- Operating the switchboard, emergency telephone and college answer machines.
- Acting as the first point of contact for front line First Aider call outs, Emergency Services, Security and Evening Duty Manager.
- Ensuring all enquiries are referred to the appropriate level.
- Undertaking general administrative and support duties.
- Supporting with the welcoming of visitors during Welcome events, Orientation Days, Open Events and other College events.
- Maintaining cleanliness and overall appearance of the Reception area as a first point of contact.
- Managing and handling lost property handed in to the Reception.
What we are looking for in our role
You must be well presented, friendly and welcoming and have the ability to work well under pressure, be organised and have excellent customer service skills.
You must enjoy and have the ability to work solo and part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be wanting to build on their existing front of house reception experience and utilise their professional and interpersonal skills as this role is key part in our customer service and the image we present at Reception.
