If so, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Lecturer in Travel & Tourism to join our Further Education team and deliver high-quality teaching on BTEC programmes. Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across BTEC Travel & Tourism Levels 2 and 3.
- Design and develop curriculum content that reflects current industry standards.
- Support learners through tutorials, feedback, and pastoral care.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes including internal verification and standardisation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and educational developments.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in FE, particularly BTEC Travel & Tourism.
- Significant industry experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or aviation.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance in education.
Desirable:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent).
- Experience as an Internal Verifier or in curriculum audits.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms.
