We are looking for an engaging, self-motivated professional with strong Carpentry/Construction industry experience to join our growing team. If you're passionate about your trade and keen to inspire learners at all stages of their development, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

What the role involves:

  • You'll design and deliver high quality Carpentry programmes to a diverse range of learners, combining hands-on practical training with clear, accessible theory sessions.
  • Your expertise will help students build confidence, master essential skills and progress into successful careers.
  • Alongside teaching, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of the department, support learners through tutorials, and complete the administrative tasks that ensure smooth and effective course delivery.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong, up to date experience in the Construction sector.
  • In-depth Carpentry knowledge supported by at least a Level 2 vocational qualification.
  • A commitment to helping learners achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage.
  • A proactive, team-focused approach and a desire to contribute to departmental growth.
  • Teaching experience or qualifications are welcome, but if you're new to education, we'll support you to gain the skills and training you need to succeed.
