Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer – Business and Marketing to join our Business team at our Cambridge Campus.
You will join us on a part time (22.5 hours), full year and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between
£18,037 - £26,551 per annum, equivalent to a full-time salary of £29,662 - £43,662 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role
As a Lecturer in Business, you will
- Deliver engaging and inspirational lessons across Business programmes.
- Teach BTEC and T Levels, and other vocational qualifications at Levels 1 to 3.
- Plan, prepare and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback and support.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
- Develop strong links with employers and industry partners to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Support students in developing commercial awareness, employability skills and progression opportunities.
- Participate in course reviews, open events, employer engagement activities and departmental meetings.
What we are looking for in our role
We are seeking a passionate educator who can bring real-world business experience into the classroom.
Essential
- Experience teaching BTEC Business or equivalent vocational qualifications within Further Education.
- Significant industry experience within a business-related role prior to becoming a lecturer.
- A relevant qualification in Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or be willing to work towards one.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of planning, delivering and assessing vocational programmes.
- A commitment to raising achievement and supporting learners of all abilities.
