Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Mentor - Health & Personal Care to join our Supported Learning team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a part time (22.5 hours), term time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £12,986 - £13,311 per annum, equivalent to a full time, full year salary of £24,577 - £25,192 per annum, plus staff benefits.

As part of the role, you will:
- Support students with a range of learning difficulties and other disabilities.
- Enable reasonable adjustments to help students to engage.
- Mentor students and encourage them to remain on task.
- Model skills so that the student can understand the tasks.
- Assist with Personal Care and health needs.
- Promote our college values.
What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:
- GCSE English grade C / 4 or equivalent - or willing to work towards gaining this qualification.
- Happy to undergo relevant training.
- Enjoy working across college faculties i.e. supporting students on a variety of courses.
- Have recent and demonstrable experience of working with people with special education needs (desirable, but not essential).
- A positive can do attitude, sensitive to others needs, patient and reliable.
- A team player yet also able to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
