Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Learning Instructor to join our Supported Learning team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a full time (37 hours), term time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £22,568 - £26,699 per annum, equivalent to a full year salary of £25,972 - £30,727 per annum, plus staff benefits.

The primary purpose of this job role is to provide training and assessment in a variety of catering work environments and across a broad range of courses and vocational options in SEND. The post holder will be required to monitor progress, set targets and maintain assessment records for learners in the SEND department. The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to teach, supervise and assess learners in a variety of catering locations across a range of programmes in SEND and the catering departments of the university colleges across a range of levels including pre-entry and above.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Level 2 standard in English and Maths
- Vocational skills or practical ability to work with hospitality/catering and life skills.
- The minimum of L2 Chef qualification OR/AND the minimum of 6 months work experience in commercial kitchen environment
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to undertake the qualification.
- Extensive recent, relevant experience of working with learners with a range of learning disabilities.
