Cambridge Regional College is seeking a dynamic and inspiring leader to join us as Head of Online Learning to drive our online and distance learning provision to new heights. As Head of Online Learning, you will lead the design, delivery and growth of high‑quality, impactful, cost‑efficient online and distance programmes. Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Adults and Apprenticeships, you will shape the entire learner journey, recruit and empower your team, and work with stakeholders to bring cutting‑edge courses to market.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide dynamic leadership and management for online and distance learning, ensuring excellent retention, achievement and progression.
  • Develop and review a future‑focussed curriculum plan aligned with regional skills priorities.
  • Inspire innovation in course design, assessment and support to engage learners and exceed performance targets.
  • Own data analysis and KPIs, driving continuous improvement and revenue growth.
  • Lead on quality assurance: self‑assessment reports, IQA/EQA visits, standardisation and certification processes.
  • Forge strong employer and community partnerships to keep content relevant and drive new opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, forecasting and resources for maximum efficiency and impact.

The role is offered on a full time (37 hours), full year, permanent basis with a competitive salary of £56,537 per annum, plus staff benefits.
