Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for an EHCP Officer to join our Education, Health & Care Plan team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a full time, full year basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £28,032 - £29,917 per annum, plus staff benefits.
About the role
The successful candidate will support young people offering direct and indirect interventions and advice to assist with the transition, retention and success of students with EHCPs within college. The role will include family/advocate liaison and preparing, chairing and reporting on Annual EHCP Reviews. Working collaboratively with lecturers, support staff and external parties, you will ensure that we provide the best possible service to our students, whilst fulfilling our policy, statutory and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
To apply for the position you must have previous experience of working with students with Special Educational needs, and you will have GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent). Attention to detail, the ability to follow procedure and problem solve with minimal supervision alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will report to the EHCP Manager.
