Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Sales Ledger Team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a full-time (37 hours), full year basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £28,032- £29,917 per annum, plus staff benefits.

Weekly Hours: 37

Weekly working patterns: Agile Working - 3x days in the Office and 2x Days at Home.

About the role:

Where: Cambridge (occasional travel to Huntingdon Campus may be required during August enrolments period).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, accurate and timely data which will enhance the position of the College.
  • Assist with any other functions within the Finance Office as directed, to include supporting the Sales Ledger & Credit Control Team with queries and the use of EBS.

Reporting manager: Senior Credit Controller.

Agile working - 3x days in the Office and 2x Days at Home.

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within a Finance Office.
  • Knowledge of computerised accounting packages.

Skills and abilities:

  • Ability to work under pressure and to a deadline.
  • Ability to prioritise work.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel Intermediate.
