We are seeking a passionate and proactive Trustee with a focus on Fundraising to join our Board. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to make a tangible difference in the Cambridge community by helping us secure additional fundraising income and grants to support and expand our impact.

What will you be doing?

  • Strategic Fundraising Leadership: Develop, oversee, and support the delivery of Cambridge Reuse’s fundraising strategy, working closely with the Board, Operations Director, and Commercial Director.
  • Grant Applications: Identify, research, and apply for relevant grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies to diversify and grow our income streams.
  • Income Generation: Explore and champion new fundraising opportunities, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, and events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with donors, funders, local businesses, and community partners.
  • Governance: Contribute to the effective governance of the charity, ensuring fundraising activities are ethical, transparent, and aligned with our mission and values.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Support the evaluation of fundraising performance and ensure clear reporting to the Board and stakeholders.
