We are a well established orthodontic practice based in Cambridge looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified dental nurse to join our dynamic, super friendly team. We provide both NHS and Private Orthodontic Care. We offer a range of orthodontic treatment including fixed braces and Angel aligners.
As an orthodontic nurse your role will include chair side support, intra oral scanning and intra oral photography. If you are a true all rounder then your role will also extend to working at reception when needed. If you want to expand your role within a truly supportive team, then we are the practice for you!
The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced Orthodontic Therapists and support staff to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assisting orthodontic therapists with procedures such as fitting braces, taking X-rays, intraoral scanning, etc.
- Providing chairside support during appointments and procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for appointments
- Ensuring the highest standards of infection control and sterilization
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- GDC registration
- Radiography qualified (holding an approved dental radiography qualification)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent patient care
