The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

As a visiting moderator, you'll be verifying the quality of the centre's provision of practical activity, and the procedures for maintaining the documentary requirements. You'll be part of a team and you'll work closely with your team leader. You will contact centres to arrange a visit, visit the centre in person and follow up the visit with a report to the centre. You must be UK based.

We'll make sure you are fully trained so you understand the monitoring process and your part in it. There will also be standardisation activities to make sure you can apply the criteria consistently. Visiting moderation is carried out throughout the year. You would generally undertake 15 moderation visits per year.

The amount of work involved will vary depending on the mode of moderation and the level of the qualification. You would generally moderate around 16 centres with about six samples per centre.

Relevant teaching or assessment experience within the last 3 years. We also consider PGCE students who have completed the classroom teaching element of their course. Current or previous experience teaching within the UK education system. A teaching qualification or a degree related to the assessment subject. Be living in the UK.
