Cambridge Maintenance Services is looking for a technical services and compliance manager to join our operations team based at head office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This is a key role within the business. You will act as the technical authority across our client portfolio, helping ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory, regulatory, and client specific requirements.

You will support operational teams with technical guidance, drive best practice, manage compliance risk, and help maintain high standards across mechanical and electrical systems, life safety systems, and other high risk assets.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Supporting service delivery across multiple sites
  • Reviewing and approving RAMS
  • Leading audits and inspections
  • Overseeing water hygiene and fire safety compliance
  • Supporting new contract mobilisation
  • Helping develop the skills and competence of engineering teams

We are looking for someone with experience in a technical or compliance management role within facilities management or building services. You should have strong knowledge of M&E systems, water hygiene compliance, statutory compliance, and UK regulatory frameworks, along with the ability to turn technical requirements into practical operational action.
