As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (City & Guilds recognised), you will undertake scheduled planned maintenance and reactive requirements. You will report to the Contracts Manager and collaborate with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance, respond to repair work across mechanical, electrical, fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance. Mobile phone, tablet and uniform will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance by the required attendance dates.
- Update legal compliance documentation via tablet to a high standard.
- Provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system.
- Participate in a call‑out rota after successful probation.
- Work reasonable overtime as required to satisfy client obligations.
Location London
Hours of Work Monday‑Friday – 42.5 hours per week (overtime after 47.5 hours)
Essential Skills & Qualifications- Vented/Unvented G3 qualification.
- Commercial Gas (All Modules).
- Experience performing works with mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC plant & equipment.
- Extensive experience in general building services; relevant plumbing repair qualifications.
- Recognised qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline.
- Ability to repair/replace plant, fixtures and fittings as required.
- Ability to service and repair onsite plant, fixtures and fittings.
- Organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements.
